Eve Rutzick

Eve Rutzick began her legal career as an eviction defense attorney for low-income tenants in Los Angeles County. She then transitioned to working at the Social Security Administration at two hearing offices in Los Angeles County for almost nine years, first as an attorney advisor and later as a supervising attorney. In 2018, Eve joined Inner City Law Center's Public Benefits Technical Assistance Team as a senior staff attorney working on the CBEST Project funded by the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services. In 2020, she then became a supervising attorney on the Public Benefits Hearings Team and began working as the Public Benefits Team's interim directing attorney in 2022. Eve joined Change Well Project in 2023 to continue developing and teaching best practices for assisting low-income disabled individuals to be awarded disability benefits.
